These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of the Career Nirnaya platform, including our assessments, student dashboard, and reports (together, the "Service"). By registering for an account or taking an assessment, you agree to these Terms.
The Service is designed for students in Class 9-12 in India. Where a user is a minor, we expect a parent or guardian to be aware of and involved in their registration and use of the Service, including reviewing assessment reports together.
You are responsible for keeping your account password confidential and for all activity under your account. Assessments are unlocked using an access code issued by a school or counselor. Access codes are intended for single use by the student they were issued to and should not be shared.
Our assessments are built on recognized psychometric frameworks (including MBTI-style personality typing and Holland's RIASEC vocational model) and are intended as guidance tools to support stream and career decisions. They are not a clinical, psychiatric, or diagnostic service, and reports should not be treated as a substitute for professional educational, psychological, or career counseling advice where that is needed. Final academic and career decisions remain the responsibility of the student and their parents/guardians.

The assessment questions, scoring methodology, platform design, and report formats are the property of Career Nirnaya and may not be copied, resold, or redistributed without permission. Your own assessment answers and the resulting personalized report remain yours to use for your personal, non-commercial purposes.
Pricing and payment terms, where applicable, are communicated separately (for example, through your school or by contacting us directly) and are not fixed within these Terms.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. While we aim for high availability and accuracy, we do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any career outcome will result from using it.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Career Nirnaya will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service, including decisions made based on an assessment report.
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for violation of these Terms or misuse of the platform.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
